Practice areas

Hiring a lawyer is a serious  endeavor and must be based on trust and confidence. That trust must go both ways. Always seek YOUR representative on the basis of trust and confidence never relying on any advertisement. I represent my clients to the utmost of my ability.

Divorce, Legal Separation, Paternity

These areas are within a broader area of the law often referred to as Domestic Relations or Family Law. It includes restraining orders, child custody and support, parent and child issues commonly called paternity, and separation agreements.

Criminal Law

I represent people accused of Felonies and Misdemeanors whether State violations or Federal. I handle traffic tickets and such serious traffic offenses as DWI/DUI (impaired driving), Vehicular Manslaughter, and Leaving the Scene of an Accident. And I handle every manner and description of municipal charges.

“Remember, you have Constitutional Rights and the very real right to remain silent. Consult a lawyer before you talk”

Personal Injury

On a very limited and selective basis I will undertake a personal injury matter. These civil matters include auto, truck, motorcycle and pedestrian accidents. Generally, these are contingent fee cases (you don’t pay until and unless we recover). Unlike a criminal matter the level of required proof is not as steep.

Firearms

From Federal or state criminal charges involving firearms or their use through seeking the restoration of 2Nd Amendment rights, including the expungement of past charges, I have and continue to undertake such cases.

Contracts

I have and I will draft contracts for my clients. Quite frankly, separation agreements in divorces and parenting plans are contracts. All contracts requires careful and thoughtful contemplation of future events

Child Custody and Support

Aside from these matters being dealt with during a divorce or paternity court case, enforcement of these court orders are matters often encountered after the divorce or court hearing.

Administrative Hearings

I have and continue to represent professionals before licensing and disciplinary boards and agencies. As a matter of fact the current DWI/DUI laws have an administrative component directed at taking one's driving privilege or preventing its restoration
